A view of the junction of Barrack Lane and Derby Road taken in the early 1980s.  The corner property then housed 'Park Batteries'.

The same properties situated on the triangular patch of land at the junction of Barrack Lane and Derby Road. taken in the 1920's, This photograph was used to accompany a piece in Lenton Times Issue No.9 on newsitems from the 19th century.  The newsitem in question appeared in 1833 and related to the sale of the land for building purposes.
